Warranty

In the event of a breakage, the receiver is guaranteed for 1 year from the date of purchase with the television provider Shaw Direct. If the customer is on the FFM * or FFS * program, the receiver obtains a limited lifetime extension (until the customer no longer has the program in his account). There will be a shipping charge of $ 13.99 for each receiver and a replacement fee of $ 9.99 for the replacement of remote controls and accessories to be sent by Purolator to Shaw Direct.

* FFM = Fee for multiple receivers (included in several Shaw Direct plans) / FFS = Fee for single receiver (when the customer has only one active receiver in the account, but pays for an extended warranty): This type Guarantee applies when the customer has more than one (1) active receiver on his account and provides a limited lifetime extension of the manufacturer’s guarantee. Receivers replaced under the FRM or FRU program are insured under the terms stipulated in the manufacturer’s warranty. This warranty does not cover equipment damage caused by the customer. Please ask the customer to consult the receiver’s user manual for more information. There will be a shipping charge of $ 13.99 for each receiver and a replacement fee of $ 9.99 for the replacement of remote controls and accessories to be sent by Purolator to Shaw Direct. These fees are required regardless of the warranty (except for a faulty receiver within 30 days of purchase). Note: The customer does not have to return the defective remote control to us. It is important that the customer keeps his invoices.
